Spring Break '09 - Los Angeles, CA

This year Spring Break fell over the Easter holiday and also happened to be the last weekend that Bruce could take a Spinnaker class in preparation for crewing aboard Allouette for the Newport to Ensenada race. We decided to turn it into a family affair and take a road trip together. The trip was great! We got out of the snow and onto the beach in a 24 hour period. The kids did great in spite of getting pretty sick the last day there and for the drive home. Here are the highlights, at least the ones with pictures! Still tryingto figure this blog thing out so the trip really starts at the bottom, either way you get the idea....enjoy! Almost home - St. George for lunch

What a fun trip! Came home to 72 hours of solid rain that finally gave up and turned into snow. We were ready to go back as soon as well pulled into the driveway! Happy Easter everybody!
